Time & Place:
8:00 AM start and finish at Legacy Lodge at Park City Mountain Resort.

Course & Distance:
Approximately a 16 +/- mile trail run from the base of Park City Mountain Resort (7000′) to the (literally) breathtaking top of Jupiter Peak (10,000′) and back, on the challenging single track trails found within the resort property. There are 5 aid stations with water, but carrying water is encouraged. Course closes at 1:00 PM. For your safety, we have setup a return to start/finish location. If you are not at Shadow Lake Loop aid station by 10:30 AM (2:30 hours after the start, 5 1/2 to 6 miles from the start) you will be asked to return to the start/finish. If you choose to continue against our recommendations, you do so at your own risk, and we will ask for your bib.

Due to the poor clarity of our map, trail names for the course are provided below. On race day…just follow the blue dots!

CLIMB: Participants will climb from the base of the First Time lift until they reach Crescent Mine Grade. Follow (CMG) to Mid-Mountain and up the Powerline trail. Runners will then climb Comstock Mine road to Jupiter Access to Pioneer Ridge. Following Pioneer Ridge to Jupiter Peak.

DESCENT: After touching the post at the peak, runners will follow the ridge north to Tri-Counties peak, hop on the Scott’s Bypass Trail until they reach the bottom of Mo-Fo hill. Descend on the double track to Shadow Lake Loop, down the Jupiter Access road to Spiro trail and finally across Silver Spur to the finish.
