Tour des Suds, Sunday, September 19

Welcome to the 30th annual Tour des Suds mountain bike hill climb. This event is a 7 mile mountain bike climb from City Park, to the top of Guardsman Pass with a 1,700′ elevation gain. Participants are urged to don ‘festive’ costumes and celebrate the end of the mountain bike season in a spirted manner!! Crazy costumes, crazy bikes is the concept!
Time & Place:
Start is located in City Park, 1354 Park Ave, Park City, UT 84060. Race starts at 10:00 AM. Pre-registered riders can pick up race number at City Park starting at 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Course & Distance:
A mass start from City Park to the top of Guardsman Pass. The distance is a 7 mile hill climb on single and double track trail, with a 1,700′ elevation gain. Course will be marked with arrows and dots in blue chalk.

Register at Active.com for $?. Registration closes Friday, September ? at ? PM. Day of registration is available starting at 8:00 AM for $?. There is a $? day of registration fee, so sign up early. The first 200 registered will receive custom Tour des Suds socks.
After event/prizes, food and beverages will be available for all participants. The post race festivities will take place, in conjunction with the Park Silly Sunday Market, on the Town Lift Deck, located on Lower Main Street. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded. If you plan on consuming beer at the event, please have your identification on hand to prove your age. Participants without proper identification will not be allowed to imbibe.
Insurance:
The organizers and sponsors cannot be responsible for accidents during or in connection with the competition nor physical condition of participants. Therefore, each participant enters at his or her own risk and all participants are responsible for the provision of their own insurance coverage. Each entrant must sign the “Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk and Release” Waiver on the official entry form before permitted to participate.

Round Valley: 12K groomed this morning. A few inches of new snow made for great conditions today.
Rail Trail: Bonanza to 248 and the Round Valley Connector groomed today.

Round Valley: All 13K+ of the Round Valley trails were groomed this morning. 10K of classic track was set as well. Enjoy!

Round Valley: 12K of trail groomed this morning along with the Silver Summit & Cove Trailhead connectors. Note: The grooming was a little challenging this morning after yesterdays warm temps and an over nite freeze but conditions weren’t bad.

Round Valley: About 10 inches of new snow blanketed the Round Valley trails over nite and into this morning. The unseasonably warm temps created a very soft & sticky track by mid-morning. 11K packed/groomed this morning.
Rail Trail: Track-packed from Bonanza to I-80/Pace & the Round Valley Connector.

Round Valley: All 13K+ of the Round Valley trails were groomed today. Things were definitely getting soft by early afternoon. More snow and hopefully colder temps on the way!!!

Round Valley: 11K of trail groomed this morning. Conditions were great early this morning but very soft & spring-like by 11am.
Rail Trail: Groomed from Wyatt Earp to Richardson Flat and the Round Valley Connector over to Quinn’s.
